A serious traffic incident occurred on Wednesday in Vila do Conde, leaving one person critically injured after being struck by a motorcycle on Rua 5 de Outubro.
The victim was transported to São João Hospital in Porto, as confirmed by a representative from the Vila do Conde Volunteer Firefighters to Notícias ao Minuto.
The emergency services were alerted at 5:20 PM.
In addition to the firefighters, the scene also saw the presence of the Public Security Police (PSP), along with an Immediate Life Support (SIV) ambulance and a Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) from Famalicão.
