A couple was injured, one seriously and another with minor injuries, and were transported to Viseu Hospital, according to a source from the Viseu Dão Lafões Sub-Regional Command.
The alert for the fire was issued at 01:47 a.m., and at 06:02 a.m., it was in the aftermath stage.
“The residence is believed to be destroyed. Crews are still conducting overhaul operations,” the source stated, noting that the causes of the fire are unknown.
At 06:14 a.m., there were 24 personnel on site, supported by six vehicles.
