The normal operations are set to resume at 1:30 PM, four hours later than initially planned, on a day when witness testimonies, postponed from March 25, will be heard.
In the afternoon, testimonies from associates who attended the extraordinary general meeting of November 2023 are expected.
The 12 defendants in the Pretoriano Operation, including the former leader of the Super Dragões, Fernando Madureira, began facing charges on March 17 at the São João Novo Court in Porto, amidst heavy police presence.
The case involves 19 counts of aggravated coercion and threat, seven counts of bodily harm in a sports event context, one count of public incitement to a crime, another count of throwing objects or liquid products, and three counts of infringement of freedom of information, all related to an FC Porto general meeting in November 2023.
Among the dozen defendants, Fernando Madureira is the only one in pre-trial detention, the strictest form of preventive measure, while the others have been released at various stages.
