A section of the Itinerário Complementar 1 (IC1) serving the municipality of Ourique, in the Beja district, will experience alternating traffic controlled by traffic lights starting Monday due to construction work.
In a statement, Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) announced the commencement of pavement repair work on the IC1, covering the stretch between kilometers 641.2 and 694.945, aimed at enhancing the “comfort and safety conditions of the road.”
The execution of the construction work necessitates the implementation of alternating traffic as vehicles pass the work site, beginning next Monday and continuing until September 19, according to IP, which requested motorists’ understanding for any potential inconveniences.
