A source from the GNR reported that property owners have recently filed a complaint, although the burglary is believed to have occurred between Friday and today.
Since November 17, nine complaints have been lodged with the GNR’s Territorial Command in Bragança regarding residential burglaries. Eight of these incidents took place in the municipality of Macedo de Cavaleiros, specifically in Limãos (2), Vale Prados (1), Bagueixe (4), and Salselas (1), and one in the municipality of Bragança, in Frieira.
The same source also indicated that the burglars gained entry to houses, which are not continuously inhabited, by forcing the doors open.
The stolen items are still being inventoried.
The GNR is actively investigating the incidents.
