
Three men, aged between 23 and 26, were arrested on Wednesday, April 23, for drug trafficking in the municipality of Paredes, according to a statement from the National Republican Guard (GNR).
The suspects were apprehended as part of an investigation that had been ongoing for approximately three months in the parish of Baltar.
During the investigation, the GNR discovered that the suspects were daily engaged in the organized sale of narcotics to various consumers.
In addition to the arrests, authorities seized from the suspects 462 doses of hashish, 53 doses of cocaine, nine doses of cannabis, five mobile phones, a tablet, various materials related to drug trafficking, two knives, a knuckler, one round of ammunition, a butterfly knife, and €265 in cash.
The detainees, who have previous criminal records for similar offenses, are to be brought before the court to determine appropriate bail conditions.
