The state-owned company overseeing government shareholdings has not disclosed which companies are interested, but it has been confirmed that Air France-KLM, Lufthansa, and International Airlines Group (IAG), the owner of British Airways and Iberia, have shown formal interest.
As part of the sale process, Parpública now has 20 days to prepare a detailed report on the interested parties that submitted their expressions of interest, assessing their compliance with participation requirements, it is stated.
