The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, has approved the list of 43 Secretaries of State proposed by Prime Minister Luís Montenegro for the XXV Constitutional Government on Thursday.
“The President of the Republic today received from the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, the following proposal for the appointment of Secretaries of State for the XXV Government,” stated a note published on the Presidency of the Republic website.
The announcement follows the President’s swearing-in of the Prime Minister and 16 ministers of the XXV Constitutional Government, the second PSD/CDS-PP executive led by Luís Montenegro.
The swearing-in ceremony for the Secretaries of State is scheduled for Friday at 12:00 PM at the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda in Lisbon.
