Upon arriving at a political rally at Aula Magna in Lisbon, Pedro Nuno Santos was approached by journalists regarding the incident involving André Ventura, moments after it took place.
“I hope he recovers quickly,” Santos stated.
The leader of Chega, André Ventura, experienced a health issue today during a speech at a dinner rally in Tavira. He was removed from the stage for assistance.
Ventura was speaking when, at around 9:10 PM, he stopped abruptly. Members of his team supported him and took him outside from the Tavira Fair and Exhibition Park.
Personnel from the Tavira Municipal Fire Department, along with an immediate life support ambulance from INEM, arrived at the scene to assist the Chega leader.
