Four individuals were detained on Tuesday in the areas of Lagoa and Grândola on suspicions of drug trafficking, the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) announced in a statement.
According to investigators, the suspects—four foreign nationals aged between 25 and 45—were found by authorities to be in possession of 20 kg of hashish in the forms of plant, pollen, and resin, as well as MDMA crystals, €20,000 in cash, and various drug trafficking-related items.
The detainees, three men and one woman, will now appear in court to learn the appropriate measures of restraint.
