A woman has been apprehended in the Loures area by the Criminal Information Unit of the PJ, following a European arrest warrant issued by German authorities, according to a note from the Judiciária.
The PJ indicates that the actions took place between August and October 2021 in Hamburg, Germany, noting that the accused’s bank account was allegedly used so that tens of thousands of euros could be transferred to other accounts due to crimes against property.
Consequently, she could face a prison sentence of 10 years.
The detainee appeared before the Lisbon Court of Appeal, where she was remanded in custody.
Later this month, the detainee will be extradited to Germany, with the International Cooperation Unit of the Polícia Judiciária handling the extradition process.
