The Public Security Police (PSP) has issued a series of recommendations on its Facebook page aimed at those planning to travel during Easter week.
The main objective of this initiative is to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of drivers and the general public.
The first piece of advice concerns the consumption of alcoholic beverages. If you plan to drive, remember, “do not drink”!
Avoid “risky behaviors while driving” and “adapt your driving to the road conditions and weather circumstances,” especially as
“Respect speed limits” and “always use your seatbelt and restraint systems.”
“Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front” and always remember: “do not use your mobile phone while driving.”
These advisories from PSP are part of the Easter operation, which in just 72 hours has already recorded, four of which are serious.
