N the agenda were four debates of 37 minutes each, which were scheduled to conclude before 1:00 PM. However, frequent interruptions and side remarks extended the proceedings well past 2:00 PM.
The voting period followed, involving an 18-page script, typical for Fridays. This session was overseen by the Vice President of Chega, Diogo Pacheco de Amorim, standing in for the absent President José Pedro Aguiar-Branco.

By 3:45 PM, without a lunch break since 10:00 AM, Pacheco de Amorim concluded the voting and announced the agenda for the following week, prompting a general departure of about 80 deputies who remained in the chamber.
“I renew my apologies,” the deputy stated at the end, having previously mentioned being inexperienced in leading voting processes.
