A police officer from the Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP), currently in preventive detention as part of Operation Last Massage, stands out as the only male among those apprehended last week, according to a statement released by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Lisbon District.
It should be noted that this PSP officer, who was on prolonged sick leave, is among the three detained individuals who were placed in preventive detention on Tuesday following their initial judicial interrogation. The others include Brazilian DJ Rebeka Episcopo, suspected of leading the prostitution ring under investigation, and her associate, also a Brazilian national, identified as Jacimara Berwig, according to police sources.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Lisbon District indicates the defendants comprise “five women and one man, all indicted for the crime of procuring prostitution, and one for tax fraud.” The ages of the suspects range from 29 to 57 years.

The DJ reportedly owned spas allegedly used for prostitution. In addition to her, preventive detention was ordered for another Brazilian co-owner and a PSP officer.

The remaining three defendants were granted conditional release but are required to surrender their passports and are prohibited from contacting one another or leaving the country.
It is noteworthy that the DJ, known as Beka, has resided in Europe for over 30 years, with a home in Portugal. She is a resident DJ at Radio Pure Ibiza in Spain, although she participates in numerous events.
Rebeka is also an international producer, businesswoman, and model, boasting over 65,000 social media followers. On these platforms, she is presented as the owner of two Nuru spas located in Lisbon and Cascais. According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Lisbon District, as disclosed today, the “defendants operated two establishments, one in Lisbon and the other in Cascais, where prostitution was practiced, yielding significant financial gains”—confirming reports that the spas were indeed used for prostitution.
The arrests were executed on April 1. During the course of numerous searches, both residential and nonresidential, authorities seized over 100,000 euros in cash.
Additionally, a .22 caliber firearm, two magazines, two 12mm shotguns, along with 32 rounds of 12-gauge ammunition and nine pepper spray canisters, were seized.
Various electronic devices were also confiscated, including 17 mobile phones, eight computers, three tablets, 18 storage devices, a video surveillance system, and a portable radio communication device. Additionally, authorities discovered 107,565 euros in cash, two bank cards, five payment terminals, and two bank checks each valued at 5,000 euros.
The searches further led to the confiscation of dozens of items used for procuring and documents related to the operation and management of the establishments involved in the criminal activities.
The operation was observed by four magistrates from the Lisbon DIAP to facilitate the immediate deposing of ten witnesses, some of whom are foreign nationals.
The investigation, which remains classified under judicial secrecy, is proceeding under the direction of the 2nd section of the Lisbon DIAP, with the assistance of the PSP.
