Portir Transitários changes its name to MOVIT and aims to earn 80 million.

A company reported today that over the past two years, its business volume surged from six million to 45 million euros.

The responses from MOVIT indicate that in 2024, the company posted a revenue of 30 million euros, expecting to conclude this year at 45 million euros.

MOVIT forecasts an EBITDA of two million euros for the close of this year.

Currently, MOVIT serves over 1,600 clients and aims to achieve 80 million euros in revenue by 2028, with plans to open offices in Barcelona, Valencia, and Vigo.

For next year, MOVIT projects reaching 57 million euros in sales, representing a 27% growth, with expectations to accelerate and achieve 80 million euros by 2028.

In a statement, the company mentions that “the rebranding accompanies the strong growth of the last two years and marks the start of a new phase of international expansion.”

Established in 2001 as Portir Transitários, the firm specialized in air, sea, and road transport solutions, complemented by customs services, urgent loads, and special projects, with extensive experience in the food, automotive, textile and clothing, plastics, footwear, metalworking, and construction materials sectors.

Currently, MOVIT operates five offices in Portugal, located in Porto, Lisbon, Leiria, Viana do Castelo, and Cantanhede.
