The transportation company has reinforced staff in stores by deploying personnel to assist those waiting in line, Marco Martins stated.
These measures follow difficulties encountered today in renewing Andante pass subscriptions via the mobile application, leading hundreds of users to Andante’s physical stores, causing the “peak of attendance” reported by Marco Martins.
He further urged Andante users to utilize digital channels, particularly the mobile application (APP).
This approach is aimed at reducing wait times and congestion in Andante stores, he emphasized.
Marco Martins reminded that besides Andante stores, users can load the passes through the APP, ‘Payshop’ agents, automatic vending machines at metro stations and Portugal Trains (CP), ATM machines, and Andante sales outlets in municipalities.
The TMP president estimated that the issue would be resolved in the coming hours.
