The Israeli airline EL AL, represented in Portugal by ATR, has announced an increase in flights on the Lisbon-Tel Aviv route.
According to a statement from the airline, the increase in capacity is due to the “success of the route” and aims to “satisfy the growing demand for Israel as a destination”.
The additional EL AL flights will begin on March 28 and will cover the Lisbon-Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv-Lisbon routes.
According to Publituris, EL AL plans to operate two additional flights in March, the first of which, on the 28th, will depart from Lisbon at 15:30 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 22:45, while in the opposite direction, the flight will depart from Israel at 10:15 and arrive in Lisbon at 14:10.
On March 31st, EL AL will once again operate additional flights in both directions, departing from Lisbon at 9:05 and arriving in Israel at 16:20, while in the opposite direction, departing from Tel Aviv at 4:00 and arriving in the Portuguese capital at 7:55.
On April 5, there will be an additional flight in each direction, departing from the Portuguese capital at 9:05 and arriving in Tel Aviv at 16:20, while in the opposite direction the flight will depart at 4:00 and arrive in Lisbon at 7:55.
In April, EL AL will operate three additional flights in each direction, including a connection on April 10, departing from the Portuguese capital at 17:30 and arriving in Tel Aviv at 00:45, and in the opposite direction, departing from Tel Aviv at 12:15 and arriving in Lisbon at 16:10.
On April 18, there will be another flight departing from Lisbon at 15:30 and arriving in Tel Aviv at 22:45, while in the opposite direction the flight will depart from Israel at 9:00 and arrive in Lisbon at 12:55.
The last additional flight by EL AL will take place on April 25, leaving Lisbon at 15:30 and arriving in Tel Aviv at 22:45, while the departure from the Israeli city is scheduled for 9:00, arriving in Lisbon at 12:55.
During the summer, EL AL intends to reinforce the operation, “adding additional flights on Tuesdays and Fridays”, adds the Israeli carrier, stressing that these connections “will soon be loaded in the Global Distribution System (GDS)”.
