AICEP Global Parques announced new agreements to boost industrial and logistical infrastructure development and investment. A ceremony at Lisbon’s Palácio das Necessidades saw the signing of a Cooperation Protocol with Angola’s ARCCLA and a memorandum with AIPEX, Angola’s private investment and export promotion agency.
The first agreement aims to enhance institutional and technical cooperation by sharing best practices in industrial and logistical zone management, infrastructure concession models, and professional training. The focus is on invigorating logistics value chains and fostering sustainable sector growth, AICEP Global Parques stated.
The memorandum with AIPEX outlines a collaboration aimed at promoting private investment, sharing technical knowledge and best practices, enhancing business infrastructure quality, and supporting the internationalization of Angolan and Portuguese companies.
This memorandum further aims to strengthen strategic convergence between the two entities, acknowledging AIPEX’s role as a key interlocutor for investors in Angola and AICEP Global Parques’ commitment to creating favorable conditions for attracting and establishing new business projects, which could enhance the competitiveness and economic cohesion of both countries.
ARCCLA’s mission includes regulating, overseeing, and supervising logistics activities to foster an efficient and integrated network focused on the competitiveness and diversification of the Angolan economy. AIPEX is dedicated to promoting exports, attracting private investment, and supporting project implementation.
AICEP Global Parques, the Portuguese entity involved, specializes in industrial park management and business location solutions, with a priority on providing conditions favorable to the attraction and installation of national and international investment projects.
