Sergio Roberto de Carvalho is considered to be one of the biggest narco-traffickers in the world.

Portugal will have to wait to judge the drug trafficker known as ‘Brazilian Escobar’, detained in Hungary for almost a year.

Sérgio Roberto de Carvalho, former Major of the Military Police of Mato Grosso do Sul and considered one of the biggest drug traffickers in the world, saw the Hungarian Justice Minister authorize his extradition from the country, following requests made by Belgium, Brazil and the United States, where he will answer for international drug trafficking.

The Hungarian government has reportedly responded positively to Belgium’s request, but there has been no official confirmation.
