
In the comparison with March, industrial production prices fell by 2.2% in the euro area and 2.1% across the 27 member states.
Among the member states, the largest year-on-year increases in the indicator were recorded in Bulgaria (17.0%), Ireland (5.4%), and Greece (5.3%), while the main declines occurred in Lithuania (-3.4%), Portugal (-2.4%), and the Czech Republic (-1.4%).
Compared to March, Bulgaria (-4.9%), France (-4.3%), and Ireland (-4.0%) registered the largest decreases in industrial production, whereas Cyprus (0.3%), Malta, and Slovenia (0.2% each), Lithuania, and Luxembourg (0.1% each) showed the main increases.
In Portugal, the indicator decreased by 1.6% from March to April.
