
At 08:40 in Lisbon, 10-year bond yields rose to 3.011%, from 3.007% on Monday.
Conversely, 5-year bond yields decreased to 2.339%, from 2.344% in the previous session.
Two-year bond yields also fell to 1.839%, from 1.851% on Monday.
Greece and Italy saw declines in yields across all terms, while Ireland’s yields rose.
The yield on Germany’s 10-year note, considered the safest in Europe, increased to 2.533%, from 2.506% in the previous session.

European stock markets opened higher today, with gains around 1.50%, after the Israeli government confirmed it had accepted Donald Trump’s proposal for a “bilateral ceasefire” with Iran, causing oil prices to fall.
After all European markets closed in the red on Monday and Wall Street posted gains of nearly 1%, the Frankfurt exchange was the best performer today, rising 1.80%, followed by Paris and Milan, both up 1.55%, Madrid, up 1.44%, and London, up 0.61%.
The Euro Stoxx 50, an index of the largest European companies by market capitalization, rose by 1.78%.
In Asia, Tokyo’s Nikkei index closed up over 1%, while the Hang Seng gained more than 2% minutes before closing. The Shanghai Stock Exchange’s benchmark index rose 1.15% and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange 1.68%.
The price of Brent oil for August delivery fell over 5% on the London futures market today, following Israel’s acceptance of the ceasefire with Iran proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The U.S. President announced Monday night in Washington that Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire starting at 05:00 today (07:00 in Israel and 7:30 in Iran).
Around 06:35, the price of Brent oil dropped 5.02% to $67.89, and the U.S. WTI oil price fell 5.21% to $64.94.
