Eddie has been “named the winner in the ‘Best Sound Treatment in Music Production’ category at the Latino Awards taking place today, November 10, in Madrid, Spain,” revealed his press office in a statement.
The Portuguese artist and producer, who has already received international recognition this year in Hollywood at the World Entertainment Awards and in Los Angeles at the InterContinental Music Awards, “is now strengthening his presence in the Iberian Peninsula and the Ibero-American sphere,” the statement added.
“This award is very special to me because it reflects my deep connection to Andalusia. Receiving it in Madrid, a city where I lived, makes this moment even more memorable. My thanks to everyone who supports me in Portugal, Spain, Latin America, and the Lusophone world,” said Eddie in the statement.
“This new recognition highlights the artistic quality, production excellence, and technical precision of the single ‘El Otro Lado de Mí,'” the statement reads, noting that it is a work inspired by Andalusia and produced between Portugal and Spain, which combines urban pop ballad influences with flamenco, with music, lyrics, and production by Eddie and co-production by Ernesto Leite.
This week, Eddie will also attend the 25th Edition of the Latin GRAMMYs Gala in Las Vegas as a member of the Latin Recording Academy, strengthening ties with artists, creators, and professionals who shape and inspire the music industry.
