The municipality of Oeiras has announced through social media that access to Torre Beach is currently restricted due to crude oil contamination.
According to the announcement, both the beach and the sea are off-limits and “will remain closed for an indefinite period to ensure everyone’s safety.”
The municipality also stated that updates regarding the situation will be communicated through official channels “as soon as the circumstances change.”
