
The proposal was made by the PSD parliamentary leader, Hugo Soares, at the conclusion of nine hours of presentation and debate on the program of the XXV Constitutional Government and received unanimous agreement from all parliamentary groups.
Therefore, at 10:00 a.m., the closure of the discussion on the program will commence, lasting approximately two hours, followed by votes, including on the PCP’s motion to reject the document.
Immediately following this point, the deputies will begin the preparatory debate for the European Council, with an estimated duration of around 65 minutes.
With these changes, meetings between Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, the PS, and Chega regarding next week’s NATO summit, initially scheduled for late afternoon, are expected to be moved forward.
