The President of the Republic promulgated today the diploma of the Assembly of the Republic that approves the Law of the Great Options for 2023-2026, according to a note published in the Presidency page.

The deputies of the Budget and Finance Committee voted, on May 24, in specialty, the Big Options for 2023-2026 with the proposal being approved only with the PS voting in favor and the remaining parties voting against.
The proposal had been approved in generality on the 12th, on which occasion the Livre and the PAN abstained, and the remaining opposition voted against.
In addition to identifying and planning economic policy options, the Broad Options (GO) include the multi-year budget programming for the central government and social security subsectors.
The Government’s draft law for the GOs 2023-2026 includes five areas of action structured around a transversal challenge and four strategic challenges, namely good governance, climate change, demography, inequalities, and digital society, creativity, and innovation.
