“It doesn’t seem realistic to me to secure a victory in the first round, given the numbers we have. They also point to my victory, but not with a margin exceeding 50%. Therefore, we will definitely have a second round,” stated André Ventura during a visit to the Penafirme Externato in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
The presidential candidate, supported by the Chega party, attributes the poll results to his campaign’s focus on topics previously unaddressed, citing corruption, security, and gender ideology in schools as examples.
André Ventura believes the second round “will have the great advantage of discussing the major issues that the country needs.”
