A detention took place on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. following a warrant from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, according to a police statement.
The suspect was reported in April 2025 for assaulting his 34-year-old wife, and the investigation found that the episodes of violence were recurring, the press release clarifies.
After the initial judicial interrogation, the suspect was placed under pre-trial detention.
