
The total payments have now reached 7.731 billion euros, representing 35% of the allocation and contracted value and 36% of the approved total.
Leading the way are companies with 2.735 billion euros, followed by public entities with 1.665 billion euros and municipalities and metropolitan areas with 948 million euros.
Following these are public companies with 837 million euros, schools with 581 million euros, higher education institutions with 293 million euros, families with 240 million euros, solidarity and social economy institutions with 235 million euros, and scientific and technological system institutions with 197 million euros.
Project approvals amounted to 21.461 billion euros, surpassing the 21.274 billion euros reported the previous week.
Leading the project approvals are companies with 6.148 billion euros, followed by public entities with 4.964 billion euros, and municipalities and metropolitan areas with 4.187 billion euros.
Next are public companies with 2.893 billion euros, schools with 1.026 billion euros, and higher education institutions with 819 million euros.
At the lower end of the table are solidarity and social economy institutions with 593 million euros, scientific and technological system institutions with 553 million euros, and families with 278 million euros.
By Wednesday, 370,965 applications to the PRR had been submitted, with 302,684 having been analyzed.
Approved applications have reached 234,196, an increase of 935.
The PRR, which has a timeline until 2026, aims to implement a series of reforms and investments to foster economic recovery.
In addition to addressing the damages caused by COVID-19, this plan intends to support investments and generate employment.
