
The total payments have now reached 8.799 billion euros, showing an increase of 41 million euros compared to the previous week.
This sum represents 40% of the allocation and contracted amount and 38% of the approved value.
The largest amounts received are by companies (3.209 billion euros), public entities (1.840 billion euros), and municipalities and metropolitan areas (1.139 billion euros).
This is followed by public companies (875 million euros), schools (604 million euros), higher education institutions (353 million euros), social solidarity and economy institutions (295 million euros), families (262 million euros), and, lastly, scientific and technological system institutions (222 million euros).
Meanwhile, project approvals amounted to 22.661 billion euros, surpassing the 22.486 billion euros reported the previous week.
The total value of project approvals corresponds to 102% of the allocation and contracted amount.
Leading the project approvals are companies (6.387 billion euros), followed by public entities (5.214 billion euros) and municipalities and metropolitan areas (4.454 billion euros).
Also notable are public companies (2.982 billion euros) and schools (1.038 billion euros).
Below these are higher education institutions (844 million euros), social economy and solidarity institutions (766 million euros), scientific and technological system institutions (659 million euros), and families (317 million euros).
As of Wednesday, the PRR had received 392,578 applications, of which 329,930 have been analyzed.
The approved applications stand at 253,433, an increase of 242.
The PRR, with an execution period until 2026, aims to implement a set of reforms and investments to recover economic growth.
In addition to addressing the damages caused by COVID-19, this plan aims to support investments and generate employment.
