
As of Wednesday, a total of 10.057 billion euros has been paid, accounting for 45% of the allocated and contracted amount and 42% of the approved funds.
Compared to the previous week, PRR beneficiaries received an additional 341 million euros.
Leading in disbursements are companies, which received 3.657 billion euros, followed by public entities with 2.047 billion euros, and municipalities and metropolitan areas with 1.4 billion euros.
Public companies follow with 1.061 billion euros, then schools with 605 million euros, higher education institutions with 404 million euros, solidarity and social economy institutions with 337 million euros, families with 285 million euros, and lastly, scientific and technological system institutions with 260 million euros.
Approvals of projects stand at 23.551 billion euros, up from 23.126 billion euros reported last week.
This amount represents 106% of the allocated and contracted value.
The largest amounts approved are for companies, with 7.294 billion euros, public entities with 4.868 billion euros, and municipalities and metropolitan areas with 4.576 billion euros.
Noteworthy are also public companies with 3.095 billion euros and schools with 1.038 billion euros.
Following them are higher education institutions with 844 million euros, solidarity and social economy institutions with 823 million euros, scientific and technological system institutions with 660 million euros, and families with 353 million euros.
The plan’s implementation remains at 47%.
The PRR has received 412,573 applications as of Wednesday, with 360,999 having been analyzed.
Approved applications stand at 276,372, an increase of 2,404.
The PRR, which is set to run until 2026, aims to implement a series of reforms and investments to recover economic growth. In addition to addressing the damages caused by COVID-19, the plan is intended to support investments and create jobs.
