The largest recipients continue to be companies, which received 2.701 billion euros, followed by public entities with 1.642 billion euros, and municipalities and metropolitan areas with 943 million euros.
Public companies received 806 million euros, schools 580 million euros, higher education institutions 291 million euros, households 240 million euros, solidarity and social economy institutions 227 million euros, and scientific and technological system institutions 196 million euros.
Approvals for projects have reached 21.274 billion euros, up from 21.235 billion euros the previous week.
This amount represents 96% of the allocation and contracted figures.
Companies stand out with project approvals of 6.023 billion euros, public entities 4.958 billion euros, and municipalities and metropolitan areas 4.148 billion euros.
Public companies have approvals amounting to 2.892 billion euros, and schools close the top five with 1.026 billion euros.
Other notable approvals include higher education institutions with 811 million euros, solidarity and social economy institutions with 590 million euros, scientific and technological system institutions with 548 million euros, and households with 278 million euros.
As of Wednesday, the PRR has received 369,861 applications, with 301,492 of those analyzed.
Approved applications number 233,305, up from last week’s figure of 233,261.
The PRR, which has a completion deadline set for 2026, aims to implement a range of reforms and investments to facilitate economic recovery.
Beyond addressing the damage caused by COVID-19, the plan aims to support investments and generate employment.
