
According to the latest monitoring report, with data up to July 30, the current figure accounts for 39% of the contracted amount and 38% of the approved funding.
In the past week alone, payments amounted to 142 million euros.
The largest payments have been received by companies (3.156 billion euros), public entities (1.806 billion euros), and municipalities and metropolitan areas (1.101 billion euros).
They are followed by public companies (868 million euros), schools (593 million euros), higher education institutions (348 million euros), social and solidarity economy institutions (278 million euros), families (259 million euros), and scientific and technological institutions (221 million euros).
Project approvals stand at 22.291 billion euros, which represents 100% of both the allocation and the contracted amount.
Leading in project approvals are companies (6.346 billion euros), followed by public entities (5.106 billion euros).
Municipalities and metropolitan areas (4.437 billion euros), public companies (2.950 billion euros), and schools (1.038 billion euros) are also prominent.
Subsequent approvals involve higher education institutions (829 million euros), social and solidarity economy institutions (730 million euros), scientific and technological institutions (540 million euros), and families (306 million euros).
By July 30, the PRR had received 384,983 applications, with 325,120 analyzed and 249,543 approved.
The PRR aims to implement a series of reforms and investments geared towards economic growth recovery, with an execution period up to 2026.
Besides addressing the damages caused by COVID-19, this plan aims to support investments and generate employment.
