Following a brief pause for Easter, the debates for the upcoming snap legislative elections on May 18 resume this Monday.
Today, the general secretary of the Socialist Party (PS), Pedro Nuno Santos, will meet in a debate with the general secretary of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP) and representative of the CDU coalition (PCP/PEV), Paulo Raimundo. This debate will be broadcast on RTP1.
Subsequently, a face-off will occur between the coordinator of the Left Bloc (BE), Mariana Mortágua, and the president of the Chega party, André Ventura. This exchange will take place on SIC Notícias.
The legislative elections are scheduled for May 18, following the government’s collapse after a vote of no confidence failed.
