The Secretary-General of PS, José Luís Carneiro, has proposed the creation of a coordination unit for hospital emergencies to the Prime Minister, addressing what he describes as a governmental failure in this critical area.
In a press conference at the PS headquarters in Lisbon, Carneiro stated that recent discussions with individuals in civil protection, health, and emergency services revealed “a deep crisis in resource coordination.”
The PS proposal, now sent to Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, will also be presented as a resolution project in parliament, advocating for the establishment of a hospital emergency coordination unit.
“The Government promised and failed,” he asserted.
