Projections from Now also show a victory for PS, with 36.5% to 40.5% of the votes and three to five seats, positioning the Faro Capital de Confiança coalition in second with 30.7% to 34.7% and two to four seats, leaving Chega in third with 14.9% to 18.9% and one to three councilors.
A poll by SIC/CNN indicates a win for PS but foresees a tie in terms of seats between the socialists and António Pina’s coalition, both securing three to five seats.
Nevertheless, PS garners 36% to 41.2% of the votes, while the Faro Capital de Confiança coalition accrues only 30% to 35.9%.
In this survey, Chega also ranks third, with 14% to 17.8% of the votes and one or two seats.
Next, CDU, led by Duarte Baltazar, secures 2.4% to 5.4% of the votes and zero to one councilor; Bloco de Esquerda, led by José Moreira, gets 1% to 3% and zero or one councilor; and Livre, led by Adriana Marques Silva, gains 0.9% to 2.9% and zero to one elected, according to the SIC and CNN survey.
The RTP projection places CDU fourth, with 3% to 4%, followed by Livre with 1% to 3%, BE with 1% to 2%, and both VP and ADN with zero to 1%.
The projection from Now leaves CDU with 2.2% to 6.2%, Livre with 0.3% to 4.4%, and BE with zero to 3.7% of the votes, anticipating that all may secure zero or one elected.
