PSI rises 0.22% to offset the fall in European stock markets

The Lisbon Stock Exchange closed today in positive territory, in contrast to the major European bourses, with the PSI index up 0.22% at 5,966.71 points.

Of the 16 listed companies included in the index, 11 were up, four were down and one was unchanged (BCP).

Greenvolt led the gains (1.93% to €6.35) and Mota-Engil was the biggest decliner (-1.86% to €2.11).

The main European stock markets closed lower. London lost 0.49%, Milan 0.41%, Madrid 0.31%, Frankfurt 0.25% and Paris 0.12%.
