Authorities arrested seven men, aged between 20 and 54, on September 22 in the Campo de Ourique neighborhood of Lisbon on suspicion of drug trafficking.
A statement from the Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP) detailed that the arrests took place in the Bairro Quinta do Loureiro.
The arrested group, already under investigation, was involved in selling drugs directly to consumers. They were apprehended while conducting transactions within one of the residential blocks of the area.
Following extensive procedural and operational efforts by various PSP units, all those implicated in the drug trade were successfully intercepted at that moment. This led to the seizure of narcotics, which were properly packaged and divided into individual doses.
