A man has been detained by the Portalegre District Command of the PSP today in a case of domestic violence, according to a statement shared on their social media page. The arrest was executed by the Criminal Investigation Squad of the Elvas Police Division, following a residential search warrant.
During the police operations, aside from the detention, authorities seized an electric weapon, a knuckleduster, and a push dagger, all classified as class A weapons, along with a bladed weapon and several packages of anabolic steroids.
The individual has since been released, and the case has moved to the inquiry stage, with the relevant procedural steps continuing as stated in the release.
