The District Command of Portalegre’s PSP announced the arrest of a suspect this morning by officers from the Police Intervention and Inspection Squad, as part of efforts to combat criminal offenses under the Industrial Property Code, specifically counterfeiting, imitation, and illegal use of a trademark.
According to the police, the suspect was attempting to sell products on a city street when caught in the act.
The seized items include “sportswear from widely recognized international brands,” the PSP reported.
The suspect has been notified to appear in Portalegre Court on Thursday.
