
The PSP has reported the seizure of 3.6 kilograms of explosive products, 7.8 kilograms of gunpowder, 231.5 meters of detonating cord, 282 meters of fuse, 305 detonators, and 77 connectors.
Additionally, the PSP noted that 53 infractions have been recorded over the four-year span of these “safe quarries” operations, leading to the confiscation of more than 600 kilograms of explosive products.
The most recent actions by police officers uncovered 10 incorrect entries in the tracking system for such products, four instances of improper storage, two instances lacking the necessary PSP authorization, one instance of not returning such authorization to the police force’s direction, one failure in signaling/fencing, and one missing logbook at a site.
