PSP searches the house of the leader of the Super Dragons. Sandra Madureira reacts

The Public Security Police (PSP) conducted searches on the morning of Thursday, November 27, at the home of Fernando Madureira, who is currently in pre-trial detention, and other members of the Super Dragões fan group as part of an investigation into assaults and robbery, confirmed an official source to Notícias ao Minuto.

The PSP announced that a statement with more details about the operation, which has already concluded, will be released soon.

The Jornal de Notícias (JN) reported that the PSP executed around 15 search warrants in Gaia, Porto, Santa Maria da Feira, and other locations.

The investigation involves suspicions of group assaults and robbery allegedly committed before Fernando Madureira, known as Macaco, was arrested during Operation Pretoriano in February 2024.

The inquiry into offenses against physical integrity and robbery reportedly originated from suspicions of fraud involving financial assets.

Police suspect that some members linked to the main fan group of the Futebol Clube do Porto defrauded several individuals by promising financial returns following investments.

The business reportedly went sour, leading both parties to arrange a meeting to resolve the issue near Estádio do Dragão. It is believed that it was precisely here, with Fernando Madureira present, that the 15 suspects allegedly assaulted and robbed the victims.

JN explains that the cases were divided into two separate inquiries, one concerning the alleged fraud and the other regarding the alleged assaults with robbery. Today’s searches are connected only to the suspicions of bodily harm and robbery.

“Again with this…”

Meanwhile, on social media, Sandra Madureira, the wife of the Super Dragões’ leader, reacted to the PSP searches at her home.

She posted a story with the description “again with this…” and advised in a short video that friends refrain from watching television “because it’s not worth it.”

“I wanted to tell my friends who are asking if everything is okay, I would just advise not to watch television because it’s not worth it,” she can be heard saying in the video.

The support group for Futebol Clube do Porto (FCP) was founded in 1996 and is led by Fernando Madureira, currently in pre-trial detention as part of Operation Pretoriano.
