
The document is scheduled to be delivered this afternoon at 3:00 PM at the Ministry of Internal Administration, aimed at alerting Maria Lúcia Amaral to the stalemate in the contest ensuring the promotion of chiefs to chief coordinators.
Paulo Santos, president of ASPP/PSP, stated that a legislative amendment is needed to ensure that vacancies are not lost and that promotions can occur.
One proposed change involves revising the requirement of eight years of service as a principal chief to be eligible for category advancement, Santos mentioned. He added that changing the requirements would allow more candidates to apply.
