The number of public administration workers increased in the second quarter to 760,700 jobs, rising by 1.5% compared to the same period last year, according to data released today by the DGAEP.
“As of June 30, 2025, employment in the public administration sector reached 760,728 jobs, corresponding to a 1.5% increase (11,030 jobs) compared to the same period last year,” states the Public Employment Statistical Summary (SIEP), prepared by the Directorate-General for Administration and Public Employment (DGAEP).
Compared to the previous quarter, “the increase was 0.2% (1,692 jobs).”
