A serious accident in the Beiras and Serra da Estrela region left a 42-year-old woman with severe injuries and involved a 56-year-old man, according to the Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
The Volunteer Firefighters of Covilhã reported that the victims were transported to the Cova da Beira Hospital Center.
The accident alert was issued at 6:41 AM.
