Former President of the Republic, Ramalho Eanes, 90, was involved in a road accident on Thursday morning, July 17, on the IC1 in Alcácer do Sal.
The accident involved two trucks and two passenger vehicles.
Ramalho Eanes was traveling in an official car, accompanied by his driver.
Despite the incident, both emerged uninjured, as did the occupants of the other vehicles.
