The performance will feature the “special participation of the Banda Marcial do Vale,” creating a unique fusion between Ricardo Azevedo’s pop/rock and the orchestral arrangements of the marching band, bringing new colors to some of the artist’s most iconic songs.”
Ricardo Azevedo’s Journey in 25 Years of Career
Ricardo Azevedo started his music career as the vocalist and main composer for EZ Special. In 2002, they released the EP ‘Partizan Pop,’ followed by two albums, ‘In N’ Out’ (2003) and ‘Leitmotiv’ (2005). Among the successful tracks during that period were ‘I Really Am Such a Fool’ (featured on the soundtrack of the popular youth series ‘Morangos Com Açúcar,’ on TVI, for example), ‘Daisy,’ and ‘My Explanation.’
In 2007, the singer debuted solo with the album ‘Prefácio,’ composed and written by himself. This was followed by ‘O Manual do Amor’ (2009), ‘Frente e Verso’ (2012), ‘Kaizen’ (2019), and ‘Instinto de Sobrevivência’ (2021). During these solo years, many songs achieved success, including ‘Pequeno T2,’ ‘Entre o Sol e a Lua,’ ‘O Bater do Teu Coração,’ and ‘Luz Fraca.’
Ricardo Azevedo has collaborated with Areal Editores in recent years. Many of his “songs are integrated into school textbooks, promoting the connection between music and education,” as highlighted in the statement.
