REN recorded a net profit of 63 million euros in the first half of this year, an increase of 37.5% over the same period last year, the company said today in a statement.

“This result benefited from a robust operating performance, lower operating costs and the contribution of international activity,” the company said in the same note.

According to REN, compared to the first half of 2022, EBITDA (earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization) increased 11.1% to €264.9 million, “reflecting positive contributions from both domestic activity (+€19.6 million) and activity in Chile (+€6.9 million, via Transemel and Electrogas)”.
