A man died today following a robbery at a restaurant in Mortágua, located in the Viseu district, according to a source from the GNR who spoke to Lusa.
A GNR source from Viseu confirmed the occurrence of a robbery that resulted in a fatality at the Lagoa Azul restaurant in Mortágua, without providing further details.
The alert for the incident was given at 6:00 PM.
Media outlets such as JN and Correio da Manhã reported that the fatality is the owner of the restaurant, approximately 50 years old.
According to JN, at least one assailant is on the run.
The case is now under the jurisdiction of the Judicial Police, the GNR source from Viseu further stated.
