
Rail traffic on the Algarve Line was restored at 09:56 after previously being suspended due to a fatal accident involving a man in Loulé, reported Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP).
Traffic was disrupted between the Parque da Cidade and Loulé stations, in the Almancil parish, from 7:15 to 9:56, following the completion of the track clearance work, stated a source from IP.
A spokesperson from the Algarve Regional Command of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) informed Lusa that 13 personnel from the National Republican Guard (GNR), National Institute for Medical Emergency (INEM), and firefighters were present at the scene.
