The Portuguese Ricardo Quaresma today expressed his “solidarity” with the people of Turkey, a country that suffered a devastating earthquake and where the footballer competed for Besiktas and Kasimpasa.

“I want to express all my solidarity with the Turkish people in these difficult times they are going through. My prayers are with the families of the victims,” wrote the Portuguese international on his account on the social network Instagram.

For now, this early morning earthquake is estimated to have killed more than 1,300 people in Turkey and also in Syria.
